Nehru's family on Postal Stamps

Jawaharlal Nehru ( 14 November 1889–27 May 1964) was an Indian statesman who was the first prime minister of India, from 1947 until 1964. 
Three members of the Nehru family, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, his daughter Smt.Indira Gandhi and her son Shri Rajiv Gandhi have been Prime Minister of India, two of whom (Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi) have been assassinated.
Nehru and his family members have honored by our INDIAN POST in the form of many commemorative stamps, first day covers and special cancellations.

STAMPS ON HINDU GODS BY THAILAND POST

THAILAND post issued a set of four stamps with miniature on our Hindu Gods Ganesh,Bramha,Vishnu and Siva on 2- 6 -2009 Ganesha , which is another name for Vinayaka, means the "God who has power over obstacles". A son of Shiva and Uma, he has the face of an elephant and he was blessed by his father so as to have the power to dispel all obstacles. Offerings must be made to Ganesha before any other gods.
