మహాత్మ గాంధీ 150 వ జయంతి సందర్భంగా మన తపాలా శాఖ వారు 2-10-2018 న ఏడు వృత్తాకారపు తపాలా బిళ్లలను విడుదలచేసారు. ఇలా వృత్తాకారంలో మన దేశంలో తపాలా బిళ్ళలు, వాటితో పాటు ఒక మినియేచర్ ను విడుదల చేయటం ఇదే మొదటసారి. వీటిపై గాంధీజీ జీవితం లో జరిగిన ముఖ్య ఘట్టాలు, ఆఫ్రికా లో న్యాయవాదిగా మొదలుకొని మహాత్మునిగా మారిన అంశాలు ముద్రించారు. వీటితో ఇప్పటి వరకు మహాత్మా గాంధీ పై మన తపాలా శాఖ విడుదల చేసిన తపాలా బిళ్ళల సంఖ్య 65 కు చేరుకుంది. In a first, India Post issued a miniature sheet with seven round-shaped stamps on Mahatma Gandhi on 2-10-2018 in connection with his 150th birth anniversary celebrations. The stamps, tracing the life of Gandhi from a young lawyer in South Africa to the Mahatma, carry messages of non-violence, cleanliness, service to the needy, truth, and simplicity. The miniature sheet is inscribed with Gandhi’s quote ‘My life is my message.’
