Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport - Mumbai

Two Commemorative Stamps and a Miniature Sheet were released on 75 years on Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport by by India Post on 15th October 2017.

The event was organised in the memory of the Late JRD Tata, who on October 15, 1932, piloted the first flight of Tata Air Services from Karachi to Mumbai via Ahmedabad carrying airmail.

STAMPS ON HINDU GODS BY THAILAND POST

THAILAND post issued a set of four stamps with miniature on our Hindu Gods Ganesh,Bramha,Vishnu and Siva on 2- 6 -2009 Ganesha , which is another name for Vinayaka, means the "God who has power over obstacles". A son of Shiva and Uma, he has the face of an elephant and he was blessed by his father so as to have the power to dispel all obstacles. Offerings must be made to Ganesha before any other gods.
