India Post issued a commemorate stamp on the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Pt . Madan Mohan Malaviya on 27 December 2011   Madan Mohan Malaviya (1861–1946) was an Indian educationist, and freedom fighter. He was the president of the Indian National Congress in 1909, 1918, 1930 and 1932. He later founded Banaras Hindu University, commonly known as BHU, a prominent institution of learning in India today. Malviya Ji popularised the slogan Satyameva Jayate (Truth alone will triumph) Malaviya - Birth Centenary  Date of Issue - 25 December 1961 Benaras Hindu University - 75th Anniversary Madan Mohan Malaviya and B.H. Archaeological Survey of India

On 20th December 2011 India Post issued a set of two stamps and a miniature sheet on 150 years of Archaeological Survey of India. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), under the Ministry of Culture, is the premier organization for archaeological research and protection of the cultural heritage of the nation. The prime concern of the ASI is the maintenance of ancient monuments and archaeological sites and remains of national importance. Children's Day-2011

On 14th November 2011 India Post issued a set of two stamps and a Miniature Sheet on Children's Day.  These stamps were selected from the winning entries of  Design a Stamp Painting competition on the theme of  "Save the Tigers" by school children.  This is also said to be the 100th MS of India.
