A Special Cover On Andhra Christian College Centenary Celebrations

Andhra-Christian College, popularly known as A.C College, is one of the oldest colleges in India to offer graduate programs.It was established in 1885 in Guntur ,Andhra Pradesh.
AC College is part of the educational enterprise of the Protestant churches. The College admits intermediate, under-graduate and graduate students and awards degrees through theAcharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.
Saint George is the patron saint of the College. At the entrance of the college a statue of the patron saint's image slaying the dragon is found.( It is Shown on Cover)
The college motto - "you shall know the truth, the truth shall make you free" along with college emblem can be also seen on cover.

N.G. Ranga, N.T.R, U.Sobhan Babu (cinima), Kasu Bhramhanada Reddy, Dr.Anji Reddy, J.Papaiah Sastri,K. Rosaiah etc.

రాణి రుద్రమ దేవి

On the view of APPEX-88,   A Special cover issued  by Indian Post  on Rani Rudrama Devi of Kakatiya Dynasty  on 8-06- 1988.  తిరుపతి లో APPEX -88 (A.P తపాలా బిల్లల ప్రదర్సన) సందర్బం గా మన తపాల శాఖ  8-6-1988 న ఒక ప్రత్యేక తపాలా కవరు విడుదల చేసింది.  దానిపై కాకతీయ సామ్రాజ్య పట్ట మహిషి, అసమాన పరాక్రమ శాలి రాణి రుద్రమదేవి చిత్రాన్ని ముద్రించారు.  దీనికి తపాలా ముద్రగా లేపాక్షి స్థంబాల పై ఉన్న చిత్రాన్ని ఉపయోగించారు.  Special cover on Rani Rudramadevi of Kakatiya Dynasty రాణి రుద్రమ దేవి : 1269-1289 కాకతీయ చక్రవర్తి గణపతిదేవునికి పుత్రులు లేనందున రెండవ కూతురు రుద్రమదేవికి పురుషోచిత విద్యలు నేర్పి "రుద్రదేవ మహారాజు"గా సింహాసనాన్ని అప్పగించాడు.  రాణి రుద్రమ దేవి  అసమాన ధైర్య సాహసాలతో  ఆనాటి ఆంధ్రదేశమంతటినీ  సమర్ధవంతంగా పరిపాలించి చరిత్రలో  ఒక మహిళగా  సుస్థిర స్థానాన్ని సంపాదించుకుంది.
