మన తపాల శాఖ 2014 లో విడుదల చేసిన తపాల బిళ్ళలు

India Post released a Set of 8 stamp on Indian Musicians on 3rd September 2014 to pay tribute to legendary maestros of Indian Classical Music. Indian Classical Music is of two types, Hindustani and Carnatic Music. Hindustani music is mainly found in North India and Carnatic in South India. The stamps released on legendary maestros Ravi Shankar, Bhimsen Joshi, D.K.Pattammal, Gangubai Hanagal, Kumar Gandharva, Vilayat Khan, Mallikarjun Mansur, and Ali Akbar Khan.

On the occasion of Buddha Poornima, which marks Gautama Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and death, the Department of Posts,India released a commemorative postage stamp on  ‘Drukpa Lineage of Buddhism’ on 14th May 2014. Drukpa Lineage of Buddhism బౌద్ధం మతం లో తాంత్రిక శాఖ అయిన 'దృక్ప శాఖ' ( Red Hat Sect) పై మన తపాలా శాఖ బుద్ద జయంతి ని పురస్కరించుకొని 14-5-2014 న ఒక తపాల బిళ్ళను విడుదల చేసింది. టిబెట్ లో 12 వ శతాబ్దం లో పుట్టిన ఈ తాంత్రిక బౌద్ద శాఖ (వజ్ర యానం )మన దేశం లో లడక్ లో ప్రాచుర్యం లో ఉంది. భూటాన్ దేశంలో ఇది వారి రాజ మతం.
