India Post Released one Commemorative postal stamp on Great Telugu Poet Gurajada Venkata Apparao on his 151th Birth anniversary on 21 May 2013.
మహా కవి శ్రీ గురజాడ వెంకట అప్పారావు గారికి తపాల బిళ్ళ విడుదల చేయాలన్న అభిమానుల కోరిక నెరవేరింది. అనేక విన్నపాల తరువాత ఎట్టకేలకు మన భారత తపాలా శాఖ గురజాడ వెంకట అప్పారావు గారి 151 వ జయంతి సందర్బంగా 21-09-2013 న ఒక ప్రత్యేక తపాల బిళ్ళను విడుదల చేసింది.

ఆలస్యంగా నైనా "దేశమంటే మట్టి కాదోయ్ , దేశమంటే మనుషులోయ్ " అని చాటిన మన గురజాడకు ఘనంగా తపాలా బిళ్ళ విడుదల చేసి ఆ మహనీయునికి దేశవ్యాప్త గుర్తింపు కలుగచేస్తున్నందులకు సంతోషం.
