A Set of 3 Postage Stamps on Mahatma Gandhi visit to Noakhali ,  Released By Bangladesh Post During INDIPEX-2011 Following Jinnah's declaration of 16 August,1946 as the Direct Action Day ,A massive massacres take place at Noakhali and Tippera district(Now in Bangladesh) on 10th October 1946. The violence unleashed was described as "the organized fury of the Muslim mob" . The Muslim League claimed that only 500 Hindus were killed in the mayhem, but the survivors opined that more than 50,000 Hindus were killed. Some sources also made some extreme claim that the Hindu population in Noakhali was nearly annihilated. After the riots were stopped, Mahatma Gandhi was infuriated and visited the most riot prone areas of Noakhali.During this visit Mahatama Gandhi put all his efforts to prevent the massacres,and make peace among  Hindus and Muslims.

  Uruguay post released a stamp to mark 150 years of the birth of Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore . The stamp, issued also to commemorate the INDIPEX 2011 in New Delhi, illustrates the portrait of Rabindranath Tagore, the flags of Uruguay and India and the logo of INDIPEX 2011.

A Miniature sheet with Four stamps was released by  India Post   on 12 Feb 2011 to mark the  centenary of the world's first airmail flight  at the Inaugural function of Indipex 2011 - World Philatelic Exhibition at Delhi  100 years of Airmail On 18th February 1911, a French Pilot, Henri Pequet flew a small Sommer biplane carrying 6,500 letters from Allahabad to Naini. The Journey was brief and lasted just thirteen minutes. This was the world's first official airmail flight. Among the letters of many eminent people there was one from Pt. Motilal Nehru to his son Jawaharlal Nehru.

Miniature Sheet of  Mahatma Gandhi On Khadi Date of issue: 12-2-2011 Stamps are usually printed on paper. For the first time in history, a special Khadi Stamp (cost Rs100/-)is issued by India Post on Mahatma Gandhi, the Apostle of non-Violence,during the INDIPEX 2011,a World Philatelic Exhibition at Pragati Maidan , New Delhi.   భారత తపాల శాఖ ప్రపంచంలోనే మొదటి సారిగా ఖాదీ గుడ్డ పై మహాత్మా గాంధీ  స్టాంప్ ను ముద్రించినది. గాంధీజీ ఆశయాలకు అనుగుణంగా,ఈ Rs100/- తపాలా బిళ్ళను ఖాదీ పై ముద్రించారు. దీనిని ప్రపంచ తపాలా బిళ్ళల ప్రదర్శనలో ( INDIPEX 2011 ) విడుదల చేసారు .

Tributes To Mahatma Gandhi ... Ghana was one of seven African nations that issued Gandhi stamps on his 50th Death Anniversary in1998.  The others included Gambia, Liberia and Sierra Leone in West Africa and Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia in East Africa. The biographical issue included five Gandhi stamps from various stages in his life: Gandhi - At age 17 (1887), Gandhi - At an age of 60 (March 12 to April 6, on the Dandi Salt March)  Gandhi - At an age of  61 (1931).
