పూజ్యశ్రీ నారాయణ తీర్థ ల వారి ౩౩౦ వ జయంతి సందర్బంగా మన  తపాల శాఖా వారు 11-2-2006 న  ఒక ప్రత్యేక కవరు విడుదల చేశారు. Special cover on Swamy Narayanatirtha by Indian Post on 16-07-2005 ప్రముఖ వాగ్గేయ కారుడు కూచిపూడి నృత్యంలో శ్రీ కృష్ణ  లీలా తరంగిణి రూపకర్త పూజ్యశ్రీ నారాయణ తీర్దులు  ( 1675-1745) అసలు పేరు   గోవింద శాస్త్రి. వీరు  క్రీ.శ. 17వ శతాబ్దములో గుంటూరు జిల్లా కాజ గ్రామములో తల్లావజ్జుల నీలకంఠశాస్త్రి, పార్వతమ్మ దంపతులకు జన్మించాడు. అతి చిన్న వయసులోనే సంగీతము, సంస్కృతము, శాస్త్రాలు అభ్యసించాడు. చిన్నవయసులోనే వివాహము జరిగింది. నారాయణ తీర్థ చిన్నతనమునుండే పూజలు, భగవన్నామస్మరణం చేస్తుండేవాడు. స్వామి శివానందతీర్థ పరిచయ భాగ్యముతో సన్యాస దీక్షాముఖముగా పయనించాడు. నారాయణ తీర్థ సంగీత సంస్కృత భాషాపరిజ్ఞానానికి శివానందతీర్థ మెరుగులు దిద్దాడు. భూపతి రాజపురములో స్థిర నివాసమేర్పరచుకొని "శ్రీ కృష్ణలీలాతరంగిణి" కావ్యము వ్రాశాడు. ఒక కావ్యానికి కావలిసిన మూడు ప్రధానాంశాలు పద్యము, గద్యము, వచనము కావ్యములో అతి చక్కగా చిత్రీకరించాడు. నాట్యానికి కావలిసిన జతులు, కృతులు పొందుపరచ బడ్

MEGADOOTH POST CARD ON -  Sammakka , Sarakka Jatara, Issued in Feb.2006  సమ్మక్క - సారలమ్మ జాతర కు( 15-2-2006 to 18-2-2006)  భక్తులకు ఆహ్వానం పలుకుతూ విడుదలైన మేఘదూత్ పోస్ట్ కార్డు సమ్మక్క సారక్క జాతర    అనేది వరంగల్ జిల్లా, తాడ్వాయి మండలానికి చెందిన మేడారం గ్రామంలో జరిగే ఒక గిరిజన జాతర.వరంగల్లు జిల్లాకేంద్రము నుండి 110 కిలోమీటర్ల దూరములోతాడ్వాయి మండలములో ఉన్నమారుమూల అటవీ ప్రాంతమైన మేడారం లో దట్టమైన అడవులు, కొండ కోనల మధ్య ఈచారిత్రాత్మకమైన ఈ జాతర జరుగుతుంది.  కాకతీయ ప్రభువు ప్రతాప రుద్రుడికి కప్పం కట్టటానికి నిరాకరించి ఆయనపై  తిరుగు బాటు చేసి వీరమరణం పొందిన గిరిజన మహిళలు  సమ్మక్క, సారక్క  అని ఒక ఉవాచ. దీనికి ఎటువంటి చారిత్రిక ఆధారం లేదు. కాని వారిని స్థానికులు తమ కుల   దైవాలుగా, వనదేవతులుగా తలస్తూ పూజలు చేస్తున్నారు.  నేడు ఈ  సమ్మక్క-సారక్కల జాతర దేశములోనే అతి పెద్ద గిరిజన జాతరగా గణతికెక్కినది. మేడారం జాతర గిరిజన సాంప్రదాయ రీతుల్లో జరుగుతుంది.  మన రాష్ట్రము నుండే కాకుండా పొరుగు రాష్ట్రాలైన మహారాష్ట్ర, మధ్య ప్రదేశ్, ఒరిస్సా,చత్తీస్‌గఢ్,జార్ఖండ్ రాస్ట్రాల నుండి కూడా లక్షల
