STAMPS OF ANDHRA

అందరికి దసరా శుభాకాంక్షలు చెడుపై, దుర్మార్గం పై మంచి,మానవత్వం సాదించిన విజయాలకు గుర్తుగా మనం జరుపు కునే పండుగే  దసరా పండుగ. మన దేశం లో   హిందువులు జరుపుకునే ఈ ముఖ్యమైన విజయ దశమి  పండుగకు ఉన్న ప్రాముఖ్యాన్ని గుర్తించి తపాల శాఖ వారు 7-10-2008 న  రెండు  ప్రత్యేక తపాల బిళ్ళలను,వీటితో పాటు ఒక మినిఎచార్ ను విడుదల చేసారు. దసరా పండుగ రోజుల్లో కొలకొత్త లో వైభవంగా జరిగే దుర్గా పూజా ను సూచిస్తూ ఒకటి , మైసూర్ లో జరిగే దసరా ఉత్సవాలు సూచిస్తూ  మరొకటి  తపాలా బిళ్ళలు విడుదల చేసారు. బాలల దినోత్సవం సందర్బంగా 14-11-2005 లో దసరా ఊరేగింపు పై ఒక తపాల బిళ్ల విడుదలైంది.

Artillery and Helicopter Sentry and  Parachutists చైనా యుద్ధం ముగిసిన పిదప మన సిపాయులలో ఆత్మ విశ్వాసం నింపటానికి They Defend పేరుతో  మన తపాల శాఖ 15-08-1963 న రెండు తపాల బిళ్ళలు విడుదల చేసింది.

మన హైదరాబాద్ లో జరుగుచున్న జీవవైరుధ్య సదస్సు పై తపాల శాఖ వారు 16-10-2012 న నాలుగు తపాలా బిళ్ళలు మరియు ఒక మినీ ఏచర్ విడుదల చేసారు. వీటిపై  మన దేశంలో అంతరించిపోతున్న ప్రాణుల బొమ్మలు ముద్రించారు.  Miniature sheet  India Post released a set of 4 stamp and a miniature sheet on Endemic Species of Indian Biodiversity Hotspots on 16th October 2012.   1.Bugun Liocichla: This species has been clasified as vulnerable under International Union for Conservation of Naturee (IUCN) Red List.   2.Nicobar Megapode :  As the name suggest this species is endemic to the NicobarIslands, India. The total number of their breeding pairs was estimated at 788 in 2006.   3.Hoolock Gibbon:   This species, the onle ape in India is a forest dweller. This spieces is an important seed disperser. Its diet includes mostly ripe fruits with some flowers, leaves and shoots.   4.Venated Gliding Grog:   This critically endangered spieces of frog is restricted to the Indira Gandhi National Park and its

అందంగా ఉన్న చిన్న పేపరు ముక్క ఎన్నో సంగతులు చెబుతుంది. సమాజానికి కావలిసిన జ్ఞానం అనేక విధాలగా అందించుతుంది.చరిత్ర కు ఒక గుర్తుగా నిలుస్తుంది.విశ్వవ్యాప్తంగా సోదర భావాన్ని పెంచుతుంది. అదే తపాల బిళ్ళ అయినా కావచ్చు లేకపోతే కరెన్సి ముక్క అయిన కావచ్చు. రాబోయే యువతరాన్ని సరైన మార్గంలో పెట్టె మంచి అలవాట్లల లో  తపాల బిళ్ళల/నాణేల సేకరణ కుడా ఒకటి. మనస్సుకు ప్రశాంతతను, ఆనందాన్ని ఇచ్చే హాబి లలో అతి ముఖ్యమైనది తపాల బిళ్ళ ల సేకరణ. బాల్యం లోనే దీనిని పరిచయం చేస్తే విద్యార్దులు చెడు వ్యసనాలకు గురి కాకుండా ఉంటారు. సెల్ ఫోనులు వచ్చాక ఉత్తరాలు రాయటం పోయింది. నేటి తరానికి తపాల బిళ్ళ ల గురించి తెలుసుకొనే తీరిక కోరిక సన్నగిల్లింది. ఈ తరుణం లో ఒక ప్రయోజన కరమైన హాబిని యువతలో విద్యార్దులలో పెంపొందిచటానికి తపాలా బిళ్లల మరియు నాణేల గురించి తెలిపే ప్రదర్శనలు విరిగా  పెట్టాలి. ఈ ఆశయం తోనే  గుంటూరు బాలాజీ కళ్యాణ మంటపం, బృందావన గార్డెన్స్ లో Guntur Numismatic and Philatelic Society( GNPS ), Guntur వారి ఆద్వర్యంలో 2012 అక్టోబర్ 13,14 తేదిలలో తపాల మరియు నాణె ముల ప్రదర్శన  జరిగింది. A Souvenir Sheet  on Philately Day Date of Issue  : 12th October 2012 Department of Posts has issued  a Souvenir Sheet to commemorate philately, and mark the celebration of Philately Day  on 12th October 2012 .  This Souvenir sheet depicts the evolution of Indian postal system from ‘Dak Harkara’ to ‘Air Mail’ and show-cases two iconic postage stamps issued in pre independence and post independence era.  The first stamp ’ The inverted Head Four Annas’ was issued in 1854. It was one of the world’s first multiple colored stamps.  The second stamp depicted in the Souvenir Sheet is one among the three stamps of Jai Hind series issued after independence. This stamp was issued in 1947 and depicts the  National emblem of India.  

India Post released a stamp on AWACS (  Airborne Warning and Control System )  on 8th October 2012.  The long cherished dream of the Indian Air Force (IAF) of having a radar system in the sky came into reality with the induction of the first Airborne Warning and Control System ( AWACS) on 28th May 2009 and thus India joined an elite group of nations with this system.

గురజాడ అప్పారావు (21-09-1862 - 30-11-1915) గారి 150 వ జయంతిని తెలుగు వారు ఘనంగా జరుపు కుంటున్న తరుణం లో దానికి శాశ్విత గుర్తుగా , ఆ మహానియునికి నివాళిగా మన తపాలా శాఖా వారు ఒక తపాల బిళ్ళను విడుదల చేసాలా కృషి చేసిన ధఖాలలు కనిపించ లేదు.కేవలం ఒక ప్రత్యేక తపాలా కవరు మాత్రమే విడుదల చేసారు. Releasing a postal cover on 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Gurajada Appa Rao in Vizianagaram on 21-09-2012 ప్రభుత్వం గరజాడ జయంతి కి సరైన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయటం లో ఎంతో నిర్లక్షం గా ఉందొ దీనిని బట్టి అర్ధం అవుతున్నది. ఇప్పటికైనా కళ్ళు తెరిచి వచ్చే ఏడాది ముగింపు ఉత్సవాల కైనా గురజాడ కు పోస్టల్ స్టాంప్  విడుదల చేయాలి. దినికోరకై సాహిత్యకారులు,అభిమానులువత్తిడి చేయాలి.ఇటివల రవీంద్రనాథ్ టాగోర్ 150 వ జయంతికి మన తపాలా శాఖా వారు రెండు తపాల బిళ్ళల తో పాటు ఒక మినియేచార్  విడుదల చేసారు. మరి మన గురజాడకు ఎందుకు విడుదల చేయరు? 'మన వాళ్ళు వట్టి వేదవాలోయి  ' అని కన్యాశుల్కం లో చెప్పిన డైలాగ్ నిజం చేద్దామా?
